Brew Instructions for French Press
Ideal Ratio : 1 : 16 is a great starting point (Coffee to Water Ratio) for a rich and bold notes
Grind Size - Coarse
Water Temp : 93 - 96 degree celsius (just off boil)
Things you may need : French Press, gooseneck kettle, timer
Steps :
- Add ground coffee to French Press
- Start timer and pour water evenly over grounds
- Stir gently after 1 minute
- Place lid (don't plunge yet)
- At 4 minutes, press down slowly
- Pour and Enjoy
Tip - Accompany this blend with a dark chocolate , Orange flavoured dark chocolate
Brew Instructions for V60
Ideal Ratio : 1 : 16 with Ideal Coffee suggested to be used - 12 grams
Grind Size - medium-fine
Water Temp : 93 - 96 degree Celsius (just off boil)
Things you may need : V60 dripper, paper filter, scale, gooseneck kettle, timer
Steps :
- Rinse the filter with hot water (discard rinse water)
- Add 12g of coffee to the filter
- Start time
- Bloom - Pour 30-40g of water
- Let bloom for 30 - 45 sec
- Main pour - slowly pour in circles until you reach 200g by ~ 2:00 min
- Keep water level steady, avoid dry spots
- Let water fully drain by ~2:30 -3:00 min
- Swirl or stir the final brew gently to even out flavours
Remember consistent pour helps even extraction
